Welcome to our nursery!

Our nursery is where the beginning of all of our puppies lives. Every single one of our moms are provided their own individual whelping kennels, big enough for them to have space if they need it but small enough that their babies are right there whenever they need their mommy. All of our moms are on diamond puppy chow which is intended for all life stages and is specifically formulated for nursing moms and their puppies. If we have more than 1 litter at a time we have amazing cloth dividers that separate the moms from being able to see each other or the other puppies. We also have covers that fit perfectly on top of the whelping kennels for mothers who like to climb out for a bit of their own freedom. All of our moms are free fed giving their puppies the opportunity to learn how to eat/wean themselves as they age, around 6 weeks old our puppies are taken in to see our amazing veterinarian where they receive a full health exam, deworming, and their first booster. Pending our vets approval we will start to wean our puppies from their mommies between 6 and 7 weeks, in rare cases we will keep them with their moms throughout the entire process as long as their moms have properly weaned them, themselves to give them the ability to thrive in a new home environment, once our puppies start their weaning process, we transition them to a larger kennel that provides a pee pad area, dangle toys, cots, and squeaky/teething toys to be able to start socializing with their siblings and other nursery pups that are also weaned from their moms. In most cases, all of our puppies and moms are kept in the nursery throughout their entire stay, our moms are given their own space and kept inside our home until their babies leave, and then they return to their normal lives being spoiled pets. In rare cases we will keep our moms in the nursery for an extended period of time after their puppies leave to ensure we have 24/7 eyes on them incase of mastitis and/or depression. We pride ourselves in our nursery set up, cleaning multiple times a day, checking on puppies occasionally when we have a new or high risk litter while trying to keep ourselves from interrupting them too much. We try to limit the amount of photos we take especially during the first few weeks to give our moms the ability to bond to their pups without too many daily interruptions (besides potty breaks).

Deposits & Meet & Greets:

A non-refundable deposit is require to reserve any puppy no matter the age! If a deposit is not placed, there is no guarantee that a puppy will still be available after a certain period of time. Please refer to our home page to see everything that our puppies go home with. Our nursery is a private space for our moms and puppies, we will rarely step in for video calls or videos/photos however on occasion we will make exceptions depending on the amount of litters we have at the time the request comes in. We do absolutely NO HOUSE VISITS, our mothers are the sweetest things on this earth and have never met a stranger, however they are protective of their babies and to keep them calm we prefer to do meet & greets in a public place. We do not do meet and greets until our puppies are at least 6 weeks, we will not do a meet and greet with you & your other household pets! Our puppies never touch the ground while in our household and will either be introduced during their meet and greets by being held or playing in a play area that’s set up in the back of our SUV. There are absolutely no exceptions to this!

Additional information:

We DO NOT potty train your puppies for you, they are introduced to puppy pads as a choice but it is not enforced or “trained” for them to potty there. Puppies will be puppies! Please understand that puppies go through puppy stages, no matter the breed. The Pomeranian breed specifically goes through puppy uglies where they shed their undercoat completely and their adult coat comes in slowly, no your puppy is not loosing its coat permanently. All Pomeranians range when it comes to coat upkeep, sometimes you will have to brush their hair daily and sometimes it is not as much work, it is up to you to decide how often you must brush them to prevent matting especially during puppy uglies.

Please do your research on the breed and common things that can go wrong. Hypoglycemia is one of the most common issues that we have seen in the Pomeranian breed. Please be prepared and have some sort of Caro syrup on hand and know the signs!!! This is why feeding a specific puppy formula is so important. Please keep your other pets quarantined from your new puppy to prevent any kind of issues from arising, yes your dogs can carry in parvo on their feet from your yard, regardless of whether your own dogs are sick or not!!! Please be mindful when allowing your puppy up on furniture, often times they will jump!!!
